All women are worth celebrating. However, true celebration starts with representation and it’s not very often that I can walk into my local art gallery and discover a piece that reflects my cultural background or something I can relate to. For that reason I create! I've embarked on a mission to do my part in changing the lack of representation for black women artists and art that represents us.
